Our Story
A child's imagination is a powerful force.
We created Safari Ltd. with that in mind. Our vision was to provide superior,
innovative toys that spark the imagination and ignite the innate desire to learn.
The journey began in the tiny apartment of one of our co-founders. Three generations
and over two decades later, Safari is now a worldwide leader in the educational toy
field.
We accomplished this by never wavering from our mission, and never taking a
shortcut. Our products are crafted with meticulous care, unparalleled accuracy and
incredible detail.
Our authentic replica collectibles, known for their striking realism and vivid
colors, captured the attention of the Carnegie Natural History Museum and Monterey
Bay Aquarium, and led to licenses with both. Producing scale model dinosaurs and
sea life collection replicas for such renown institutions helped cultivate the
Safari brand globally.
But, Safari offers much more than replicas. Our line of quality products includes
optical science items, unique activity sets, magnetic play kits, educational
puzzles and posters.
Safari proactively protects children by enforcing stringent
safety control measures on all our products. Being
keenly aware of the fragility of a child’s body, we rigorously safety-test our
products, and ban the use of phthalates.
We seek to protect the planet, too, by emphasizing recycling and other sound
ecological practices, while educating children about ecosystems and endangered
wildlife. All our replicas contain hangtags written in five languages to help
encourage ecological awareness around the world.
